Who is eligible for programs & services:

General Guidelines: Low-income and homeless families in the East Valley can apply for Family Service Association programs and services. Participants must have at least one child under age 18 in the household, be disabled or elderly to be eligible.

Family Service Association Programs:
Family Support:
Available without enrollment in case management:

  • Surplus Food Distribution
  • Clothing & Warm Coats

Require verification of eligibility & enrollment in case management:

  • Rental & Utility Assistance
  • Emergency Food Assistance
  • Motel Vouchers
  • Good Samaritan Loans
  • Educational Programs
  • Holiday Food & Gifts

In 2007 1,377 families were served through this program.

Home Again Program:
Families without permanent housing are eligible for application for this comprehensive case management program including:

  • Counseling
  • Food Distribution
  • Basic Life Skills
  • Parenting Classes
  • Job Training Programs
  • Housing Support

In 2007 292 families participated in the program.
