In the fight against homelessness, and as funding allows, Family Service Association of Redlands provides critical emergency support to households with children, as well as elderly and disabled individuals living on fixed incomes in our service area. This support may include rental assistance, move-in deposits, and short-term motel stays for those facing eviction or already experiencing homelessness.
In 2025, 191 families received emergency rental assistance and 256 months of rent were covered thanks to the generosity of local funders who invest in our mission.
As housing shortages persist, rents continue to rise, and homelessness increases across our county, we recognize that rental assistance is only one part of a much larger solution needed to stabilize families in crisis.
That’s why each family we serve receives wraparound support—including access to food, clothing, and transportation—helping to ease the toxic stress of a housing crisis and create a pathway toward stability and self-sufficiency.

Rental Assistance
This program assists with rental assistance for those going through a financial crisis that is not in their control (ex. car repairs, sudden illnesses resulting in job disruption or loss, etc.).
The overall goal is to fight homelessness and assist in keeping families and the elderly in housing.

Move-in Assistance
This program assists those going through a financial crisis to receive financial assistance to move-in housing.
