Donations of Goods & Services

We are excited to announce the reopening of our Donation Center effective October 1, 2020


We will be reopening our Donation Center and will implement the follow NEW rules-

  • Donation drop off hours will be Monday through Friday 9am-4pm
  • Each donor shall be limited to give two bags per drop off
  • Approved items include clothing, shoes, non perishable food and new hygiene items

We are NOT accepting furniture, books or miscellaneous items at this time 

Clothing items should be gently worn, washed and labeled (example: kids clothing, womens clothing, men’s shoes)

We are in immediate need of the following food for our community during this time of need-Peanut Butter, Jelly, Instant Oatmeal, Instant Potatoes, Pancake Mix, Beans, Rice, Cereal, Tuna, Canned Chicken, Canned Fruit, Spaghetti Sauce, and Spaghetti Noodles. Thank you for your support!

Food (perishable and non-perishable) for our Pantry. Our Pantry serves our families in need. FSA provides screened applicants with a week’s worth of groceries to feed their family three meals a day.

Fresh fruits and vegetables – In our effort to promote healthy families and programs, this becomes more important.

Children’s arts & crafts supplies – used in our childcare center and distributed to families in need

Kitchen & household goods

Toiletries – toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant

Paper goods – napkins, paper towels, Kleenex, diapers

Repair & maintenance services


Clothing & coats – new or gently used -work attire, shoes, and warm coats

Appliances (working washer, dryers, stoves, refrigerators and microwaves)

Furniture ( complete bed frames, sofas, dressers, chairs, tables)

Brand New Socks & Underwear


*This list is to be used a guideline. There may be other items not listed that FSA cannot use in our programs or which must be turned down due to size, condition, or suitability.

It’s hard to say “no thank you” to a donation. However, if an item is not in usable condition, the costs of handling or disposal pulls funds that would otherwise support our clients. FSA reserves the right to refuse any donation. Please dispose of these items through an alternative responsible source.


Please NO DUMPING!  We can only accept donations during open hours of operation.  Please no not leave donations here after hours.

With the goal of self-sufficiency, we believe in offering a hand up, not just a hand out.

We appreciate that our community that has been so generous with these donations, but with our small staff we are unable to provide a pick-up service that works in a timely manner for all involved. We will still be accepting bulk items, but at the moment we do not have the capacity to pick them up.

This list provides the basic meal for most families. Family Service then tries to add a few items when available to extend the food baskets. Additional items include:

FSA will start packing and receiving Thanksgiving Baskets on the Friday before Thanksgiving and distribution will begin on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
