Families were provided with food and gifts for all individuals in the family. This was funded through a few different sources in the Yucaipa Community. For the 2nd year in row a grant from the Elks Lodge of Yucaipa was provided to adopt five of our families residing in the city of Yucaipa. The Elks Lodge hosted a breakfast with all the family members and Elks Lodge Members and provided the families with their food and gifts. Yucaipa High School Boys Water Polo team provided gifts and food for two of our Yucaipa Families. The water polo teams dropped the gifts off at YOP and the families picked up their items later in the day. A third provider was the Wildlife Conservancy. The Wildlife Conservancy adopted two families from Yucaipa and also provided food and gifts. We are thrilled that with each year there has been an increase in community involvement to the Yucaipa Outreach Project.

There are many folks in the community that don’t know who to turn to, to get the proper resources that they are deserving of. We at YOP pride ourselves on working with the homeless individuals and families of Yucaipa to guide them in the right direction when we are unable to assist them.
