Kyra Stewart Executive director |
Kyra has been the Executive Director with Family Service Association of Redlands since 2014 Since the start of her leadership, she has been instrumental in opening up a satellite office, improving the function of the main campus with capital projects and dollars to support the effort, showing tremendous program growth with new scholarship funding and employment access for unemployed clients and strengthening housing dollars in the fight against homelessness.
Prior to working at Family Service, Kyra was a Program Director at the Nonprofit Resource Center which focused on providing capacity building activities for small to midsized nonprofits in the region. She also served as a Site Manager for a local Native American TANF Program - providing services with an emphasis (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) on education, career development and two parent household formation. |
Kyra holds a bachelor's degree in human service and master's degree in education both of which she obtained as a full-time working mother. She is a Rotary member of the Redlands noon club and a true believer in service above self. Her hobbies are writing, reading and being with her family and her dog Bubbles.

Samantha Morgan is the Administrative Office Manager at Family Service and has been in her role for 13 years. Her role includes (but is not limited to) administering payroll, tracking grants, creating financial reports, processing accounts payables/receivable, creating budgets, and some facilities management. She holds an Accounting Certificate from Riverside Community College and really enjoys administrative work that has priority to social services and housing. Prior to working at Family Service, she worked in the engineering and draftsman realm in the accounting department. Samantha has a keen eye for details and has been instrumental in Family Service completing complex government grants and audits during the years she has served the organization.
She works closely with the Executive Director and the Board Finance Team to review monthly financials and expenditures. |

Samantha enjoys working with Family Service and describes it as being "never a dull moment with new learning opportunities and the fulfilling work of helping others each day."
She lives in Grand Terrace with her husband and family, loves pets, gardening and arts and crafts.

Corey Romo Program director |
Corey is the Program Director with Family Service Association. He is responsible for bringing the program back up to speed after the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. He makes sure daily operations run smoothly, develops procedures, operations, programing, and provides support for families, staff volunteers, donors, and community members. On top of this, he leads the committees for the organization's Event Planning and Diversity Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives.
He received an associate degree in psychology, sociology, and behavioral science at San Bernardino Valley College. He went on to bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in education at the University of California: San Diego. There he worked at an early childhood education center that educated and engaged children from young infants to preschoolers. |
After college, he went into behavioral therapy, working as a behavioral technician for kids with autism. After, he served as a Program Supervisor for 3 years at a day program for adults with disabilities, advocating and assisting individuals meet their goals and work on motor and social skills. He then worked in Insurance as a claims adjustor, and thankfully quickly after started working at FSA.
On his free time, he loves going to see movies at the theater. He is an advocate for LBGTQ+ rights, mental health, education, and spends his time educating and advocating to anyone who is willing to listen! He enjoys time with his partner and family, exercising, eating food, volunteering, playing games, listening to music, and seeking out new adventures!
