Family Service Management Team

Kyra Stewart
Executive director
Kyra has led the Family Service Association since 2014, driving growth, innovation, and expanded access to vital resources across the Inland Empire. Under her leadership and with an incredible Board of Directors and staff, the agency has secured new housing and scholarship funding, launched strategic initiatives including a satellite office in Yucaipa, and bolstered infrastructure with upgraded equipment, facility enhancements, and a housing capital campaign. Her vision consistently translates into growth, improved housing resources and access to services for marginalized clients.  She has also improved the agency's community engagement through creative fundraising and collaboration.
​
​Before joining FSA, Kyra directed programs at the Nonprofit Resource Center and Volunteer Connection, fostering volunteerism and capacity building for local nonprofits. 
She also served as Site Manager for a Tribal TANF program, leading family-focused support services centered on employment and parent formation for Native American communities.

​
A skilled workshop facilitator, Kyra has led workshops on grant writing, board governance, corporate sponsorships, and nonprofit communication. She also periodically writes for the Redlands Community News.
Originally from Charleston, West Virginia, she holds a bachelor’s in Human Services and a master’s in Education—both earned as a full-time working mother of two.

Kyra is a member of the Redlands Rotary Noon Club and volunteers through Touch A Heart Ministry at the Grove Community Church. Her personal time include writing, reading, and long walks with her dog, Bubbles.

​Samantha Morgan is the Administrative Office Manager at Family Service and has been in her role for 13 years.  Her role includes (but is not limited to) administering payroll, tracking grants, creating financial reports, processing accounts payables/receivable, creating budgets, and some facilities management.  She holds an Accounting Certificate from Riverside Community College and really enjoys administrative work that has priority to social services and housing. Prior to working at Family Service, she worked in the engineering and draftsman realm in the accounting department.  Samantha has a keen eye for details and has been instrumental in Family Service completing complex government grants and audits during the years she has served the organization.  
 
She works closely with the Executive Director and the Board Finance Team to review monthly financials and expenditures.

Samantha enjoys working with Family Service and describes it as being "never a dull moment with new learning opportunities and the fulfilling work of helping others each day."
 
She lives in Grand Terrace with her husband and family, loves pets, gardening and arts and crafts.

Loida Arriaga
Assistant director
​Loida brings to Family Service over 15 years of experience in event planning, volunteer management, and program design and development. Most recently, she served as Regional Volunteer Manager at Bridge Home Hospice, where she also led fundraising efforts for the agency. Prior to that, she worked at Hillcrest Retirement Community for ten years, where she held roles as Marketing Manager and Director of Resident Life.
​
Loida attended the University of La Verne, where she earned a specialization and certification in Community Leadership. She is an advanced Communicator and has been professionally trained in Public Speaking.
